HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Free summer season meals shall be out there to Hamden youngsters this July.

Connecticut State Division of Training (CSDE) partnered with the USA Division of Agriculture (USDA) for a free summer season meals program in Hamden.

This system will start to distribute meals beginning June 20. Youngsters and youths, 18-years-old and youthful are in a position to obtain the meals for breakfast and lunch without charge. No paperwork or identification is required. One meal is allowed per baby.

The summer season meals program is to make sure that youngsters have wholesome meals all through the summer season. The meals comprise fruits, greens, grains, protein, and milk.

Shepherd Glen College will distribute meals throughout the breakfast hours of 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and lunch, 10:30 a.m. to midday, beginning June 20 till August 4. Dunbar Hill College will distribute meals throughout the breakfast hours of 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and lunch, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from July 5 to July 28.

The meal websites are open Monday by Friday, and shall be closed on July 3 and July 4.
