Candy Potato Hasselback: 6 Servings

There’s nothing like Hasselbackin’ for the Holidays! Thinly sliced candy potatoes bathed in candy and savory flavors, then roasted to crispy-creamy perfection. Don’t let the slicing dissuade you from giving this positive dish a strive, it’s simpler than you assume!


Substances: 6 giant, candy potatoes, well-cleaned and skin-on



4 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

2 Tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp salt

2 garlic cloves, finely minced

1 Tbsp recent rosemary, finely minced

3 sprigs recent thyme leaves, finely minced

Shredded Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°. Line rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper. Slice 1/4” lengthwise off backside of every potato so it has a flat base.Make 1/4” slices three-quarters of the way in which by way of every potato from finish to finish. In a small bowl, mix butter, maple syrup, salt, garlic and herbs. Brush half of the combination over potatoes and put them in oven to bake for an hour. After half-hour, take away potatoes from oven and gently and use a fork to unfold potatoes open farther from the highest. Repeat with different potatoes after which brush the remainder of the butter combination on prime. Place again in oven for remaining half hour. Take away from oven, cool barely. High with shredded Parmesan cheese earlier than serving.
